It is always a difficult task finding lots of readers (Readers) to your contents online; this is because of the tremendous competition among web masters. In this lesson, I am going to point out the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) beginners’ guide which will enable you solve the first step of SEO and subsequently quench your taste of traffic though this step will only give you some little pretty amount of traffic but it is indispensable I think to read this piece as a blogger especially an infant blogger this is simply you can’t get to the fatter bone without it or its supplement! First of all what is SEO? SEO is the short form of Search Engine Optimization which is means building your sites visibility to search engines  or  it is defined by wiki pedia as “is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine's unpaid results—often referred to as "natural," "organic," or "earned" results.”    

From the above definitions you will understand that SEO is not about just growing your site’s visibility but also about gaining more organic traffic to your site or blog but you are bound to know that bad SEO have a high chance of burying your site in to the ocean of search engines, my point here is that Google and other search engines may find it difficult to crawl your site for better organic and natural traffic or result which will scare you away from internet marketing or promotion.

WRITING GREATER AND MEANINGFUL CONTENTS

 Here, greater contents mean contents of high value; contents that commands rich organic traffic. In writing great and meaningful contents one must choose a niche of blogging which he consider best for his ability not a niche you don’t even have idea of in fact, this is  the worst mistake a webmaster can ever made in his blogging career. Webmaster or bloggers tends to go in a niche that’s the most populous which turns to be a problem to them for example in Nigeria, most bloggers go in to entertainment niche simply they think it’s the easiest and common but to their greatest surprise entertainment niche is the poorest line of blogging if carefully looked in to in fact, even Google finds it to difficult to monetize site or blogs that are in entertainment niche while the technology niche get approved by Google AdSense in no time therefore, for you to make sure you take the path of doing a greater SEO for better organic traffic writing greater content must come to play that is you must bend down and write something someone out there can read and understand but not just willy-nilly writing and expecting better organic result.

The Traffic Purpose and How Search Engine Optimization actually Works

Many online marketers do make mistake of considering SEO just as a source of free organic traffic. It is though true, but it’s not how SEO works.

The real reason for SEO is to aid buyers or people who are looking for you find you. To do that, your contents must be relevant to what people are looking for. For example:

Munir writes about blogging on his blog so, he describes everything he is says or teaching his visitors technically. But the problem is that nowadays technology blogs seems to be growing rapidly though not as entertainment blogs therefore Munir must concentrate and give extra care to his contents if not his chance of being buried by other technology blogs is very high this is because he only depends on do-it-yourself SEO not paid SEO but what about Mahmud Sambo who sells custom trouser. On his website, he describes how he makes the trousers using his local yarn with hand, often talking about the different yarns he uses. There’s not much competition for keywords relating to yarn, and Mahmud  is publishing lots of great content about it, so before long, he has front page rankings for several different types of yarn.

Do you see the problem?

The people searching for yarn trousers most likely knit themselves, and it’s unlikely they’ll be interested in purchasing Mahmud's’ trousers. He will get lots of traffic, sure, but none of the traffic will convert, because the visitors have completely different goals.

The lesson here: if you want SEO to work for you, you need to make sure your goals match the goals of your visitors. It’s not about traffic. It’s about figuring out what you want, and then optimizing for keywords that bring in visitors who want the same things.

In doing a good SEO for your Site or blog you should pay good attention to the following listed below;

Titles – Create eye-catching titles that raise the reader’s interest for example when writing a title like President “President Buharis’ Administration”  instead you write as “President Buhari and his Administration” while you actually know that if you use the first one search engines will favor it o using the last one . Remember You only have one chance to make a great first impression.

Keywords – Pick keywords that will help bring people to your site and are relevant not boring keywords that will scare away visitors and make search engines bury your site also do not use keywords that are completely irrelevant to your site for example, as a technology blogger I won’t love myself posting something about entertainment maybe something like Music, Celebrities etc while my site’s name its “tipspath.com” you see this is totally off my niche and I should not use it   

Links – Link to quality sites that compliment what your website is about. It’ll encourage sites in your niche to link to you as well.

Quality – Try to publish unique and quality content. This persuades users to visit your site simply they cannot easily find the content elsewhere.

Freshness – If you are publishing content that does not age or become outdated, that’s great, but you also urge to add new contents on a regular basis because you are a blogger *wink*. If you don’t have the time to add content to your website, then why don’t you find someone do it for you and then settle him.  
And then lastly learn to do your work in a list form
